What is a registration kiosk?

A registration kiosk is a self-service kiosk that allows patients to check themselves in upon arrival at the practice or health centre. This means they do not need to queue at the reception desk and experience greater privacy because they do not have to state their name and date of birth out loud.

How does the registration kiosk work?

The patient first selects the type of appointment they are checking in for. They then enter their date of birth in three simple steps: day, month and year. In some cases, the postcode is also required for additional verification. Once the check-in is successful, the patient sees a green confirmation message and may take a seat in the waiting area.

What do I need for a registration kiosk?

The registration kiosk requires a power connection and internet access (either wired or WiFi).

How much does a registration kiosk cost?

The price of a registration kiosk depends on the model and starts at €1,499 excl. VAT. A subscription to the registration software is also required. In addition, some HIS suppliers charge a fee for connecting the registration kiosk. Our sales team can provide further details. Contact us via the contactform.

Is the registration kiosk vandal-proof?

The registration kiosk is made of robust materials and equipped with a weighted floor plate for extra stability. If preferred, the kiosk can be fixed to the floor.

Is the registration kiosk sustainable?

The modular registration kiosk is a sustainable choice because it is designed with the future in mind. All components are easy to replace, and you can add a ticket printer or QR-code scanner at a later stage.
